Boatyards along the canals that repair, service and fit out narrowboats: engines and gearboxes, welding and steelwork, electrics, gas and plumbing, and full or partial fit-outs. Many also offer blacking, moorings or a chandlery, which have their own listings where they’re a major part of the business.
Services vary a lot from yard to yard, so check the listing and contact the yard before you travel.
